One must know how to help oneself like your mother; my old friend also swore by hold-ups or used garter belts!
I liked it better anyway - you only took off your panties if they weren't open and you could start fucking immediately!

My alcoholic mother sometimes used roll garters to hold her nylon stockings up rather than wearing a garter belt or girdle. It made it easier when she had to pee, which was frequently. Loved the flocked nylon stockings on the other gal too.
